Have an idea for a business or invention but aren’t really sure how to get it started? Utilizing your personal and professional networks is the key, and Chris’ mentorship will be centered around the steps and resources to help you build robust relationships.
What’s up everyone, I’m Chris Landano, a native New Yorker born and raised in Queens. I started volunteering and serving others at the age of twelve. By my late teens I knew I had a passion for helping others and would lead down the path of public service. It started at my local YMCA where I became one of the youngest sports and teen directors in the Y’s history. It was at the YMCA where my passion for volunteering and helping others was nurtured. When I was 19 I began with the New York City Police Department as an auxiliary police officer.
I was later hired by the New York City Fire Department and served for 20+ years. During my career as a firefighter, I began working on an invention in my spare time, which helped make my decision to retire from the NYFD and go full-time into entrepreneurship. I also run the New York City Inventors Club and am the CEO and Founder of Inventor Rescue, an online platform designed to connect inventors with the best education and resources to avoid scams that derail young creators. I’ve fully dedicated my life to my passion for helping others in need of guidance and support and to move the needle forward in life or in business.
